A Little Bear News to Ease back into the Blog Game

The past 10 months in Bear News:
A black bear with troubled past was killed by wildlife officials in Nevada after repeatedly breaking and entering into homes and cars over the weekend.  While Nevada restricts the death penalty to capital offenses, aka murder, the game warden involved took up the role of judge, jury, and executioner by first tranquilizing and then killing the bear, for what is assumed the normal method of lethal injection for the state.  The bear was reportedly fearless of humans and was deemed beyond rehabilitation.  More concerning is the rise in super-bear burglaries, suck it Ocean's 11!

black bear in California was shot with tranquilizer darts after evading capture for several hours.  Authorities were after the bear after it was sighted in a tree outside a church, inciting a chase that eventually ended at the local golf course.   The bear is a repeat offender and has been relocated deep in the forest.  Clearly the bear was waiting for morning mass before making his way to his tee time, when he was shot.  The bear has not been charged with anything other than trying to play golf, but its clear the California policy of restricting bears from suburban areas will hurt their golf scores dramatically.

Not exactly news, but helpful bear narrative, suggest by JP...
